She contends the court erred in determining an independent contractor has no cause of action for sex discrimination under RCW 49.60.030, and alternatively the court erred in failing to consider evidence she was an employee. The City of Spokane cross-appeals, contending the court erred in ruling Ms. Marquis presented sufficient evidence to create genuine issues of material fact as to whether employment discrimination occurred.
